The Plant Engineer works closely with the Director of Engineering and the Plant Manager to provide technical expertise for the development, design, and execution of capital, expenses, and maintenance projects in a safe, profitable, timely, and efficient manner by performing the following responsibilities for their roofing products that they manufacture.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
2+ years of experience with project management for capital equipment and maintenance projects in manufacturing
Experience with developing, designing, performs cost estimation and justification for capital projects
Experience with process control systems
Experience providing requirements for new equipment and repairs to existing equipment
Experience with supervising junior engineer and technicians
BS in Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with roofing products manufacturing
Experience programming PLC’s or HMI’s
Experience using CAD, CAM, and data analysis programs
Experience developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
Experience researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products
Experience working with vendors, contractors, plant staff, corporate engineering, and others to complete projects on time and within budget
Salary Range: $70,000 to $118,000 DOE
Bonus: 5-12% annual bonus
