The Production Manager will provide support and direction to all aspects of production including Production Supervisors and hourly employees in an automotive manufacturing facility. This position will report directly to the Plant Manager and work collaborate with engineering on identifying production issues and continuous improvement projects.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience in a production or continuous improvement role in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of experience as a manager with direct reports
Experience with applying Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing methodologies
Experience with upholding safety standards an procedures in a manufacturing environment (OSHA Cert is a plus)
Experience with scheduling and forecasting labor based on production needs
Experience with continuous improvement projects
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Experience with injection molding processes
