The Quality Manager will ensure the correct use of advanced quality planning and engineering to enhance quality, reliability and acceptance of system, processes and products. This is an automotive metals manufacturing facility. Provide a professional level of quality customer service to both internal and external customers/suppliers.
REQUIRED EXPEIRENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience in a Quality Supervisor/Manager in a Automotive environment
3+ years of experience with geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
3+ years of experience with PPAP approval processes
3+ years of experience with IATF16949 quality standards
Experience with metal manufacturing or machining processes
Experience with APQP
Experience with Gage R&R
Experience with FMEA to identify and correct quality issues
BS in Engineering or 5+ years of experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with using and programming CMM (PCDMIS)
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Experience with 8-D and Why Methodology
