The Reliability Engineer will report to the Reliability Manager. They will play a key role in orchestrating proactive reliability-focused initiatives, encompassing preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as the coordination of planned engineering activities. They manufacture rolled aluminum products for the automotive and aerospace industries.
The objective is to enhance the likelihood of optimal operation for their manufacturing assets by implementing strategies aimed at preventing failures and minimizing their impact. They utilize analysis techniques to identify and thoroughly document the root causes of any failures that do occur, enabling us to eliminate these causes effectively.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Must be ITAR compliant
3+ years of experience with industrial mainteance for manufacturing machines
Experience with reliability engineering for preventative and predictive maintenance
Experience with project coordination, scheduling, planning and communications
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Experience with MS Office Suite
Comfortable with Union Environment
BS in Mechanical Engineering BSME or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience working with rolled aluminum or metals manufacturing equipment
Experience troubleshooting of overhead and gantry cranes
Experience with aluminum coil processing processes
Six Sigma certification
Experience working with competitors Aleris, Arconic, Special Metals, Novelis, Kaiser, United Aluminum
Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 DOE
Bonus: 12% annual bonus
