The New Product Introduction Engineer is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating customer’s new product or process development programs by providing technical guidance/assessment in the design, development, assembly and test engineering disciplines within an aerospace parts manufacturing facility. They will apply expertise in engineering principles to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of the company’s customers.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
3+ years of experience in a New Product Introduction or Product Development role in an ISO 9001 or AS 9100 manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience with mechanical design using Catia V5 or Solidworks
Experience with FMEA, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Experience with ERP/MRP software
Experience working with customer requirements for new product development
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
10-20% domestic and international travel
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related
