The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, construction, and start-up of projects and provides technical support for operations and maintenance on their equipment that manufactures friction products such as machine brakes and transfer cases for heavy equipment, filtration products such as filters, composites from raw materials and more.
They will be designing, specifying, installing and troubleshooting industrial electrical, power distribution, and instrumentation control systems. This includes providing high-quality design, scope, and cost/schedule estimates including P&IDs, and equipment drawings and specifications.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
2+ years of experience designing instrumentation and controls systems for manufacturing
Experience designing power distribution, feeders, and Motor Control Centers for motors, and including interlocks
Experience with ANSI/ISA S84.01 Process Safety Management (PSM)
Experience programming PLC's with any software
Familiarity or knowledge of DCS systems
Familiarity with CMMS and SAP systems
ITAR COMPLIANT: Green Cards, Perm Residents, & TN Visas OK
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience working with friction, filtration, or composites manufacturing
Experience with Delta V – DCS systems
Experience with IATF 16949 requirements
Experience with Process Safety Management
